THIS IS AFTER 1 RIDE, SO BEAR IN MIND
Pros:
-solid build quality all-round
-adequate actuation speed (especially for the price, if we re talking about price, for it s price the build quality is more than solid, absolutely great)
-looks nice and discreet (most of us would want that koshima coating/color on it but i m not expecting that for the price)
- for a skeptic and someone that is in between bike sizes (my climbing position was also my descending/attack position lol, couldn t lower the seat), it made me fall in love again with MTB-ing, and that was just after the first ride
-still have space to add my tail light, attached to the collar
-lowriding has been fun lol
Cons:
-instructions imo are lacking, and by that i mean the way the clamps for the seat are supposed to go, having to look at other reviews and product page to figure it out (i had no trouble with the bottom part since i had the post i was taking off to look at, but i did install the top part the wrong way.)
- the wire/cable might be too sensitive, got mangled up pretty bad while i was fitting and testing since i have a pretty unconventional run for it, to the point i had to get a 3rd party one to run smoothly in the housing, but i do accept that it might ve been my fault with the way i handled it
-little bit of wobble at the seat clamp, even though it s tightened sufficiently, guessing that it might be the little thread inserts. HAS NOT affected my comfort while sitting/climbing, so for now it s barely a con.
Overall the cons are most likely to be user error and even if they aren t they pros massively outweigh them. Very lovely product, hope it lasts as long as possible, with the proper care of course !
