Returns Process (Unused Items)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out. If you’d like to return any unused items, here’s how you can do so:

Return Period: You can return unused goods within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund, excluding postage costs.

Condition: All items must be returned in their original, unused condition, with any packaging intact.

- Carefully package the goods to ensure they’re protected during shipping.
- We highly recommend using a tracked postage service for your return. This will provide you with proof of return and allow you to track your parcel until it reaches us.

Refund Process: Once we’ve received and inspected the returned items, we’ll process your refund. Please note, we’ll only refund the cost of the product itself; original postage costs are not refundable.

Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned goods. You will be notified via email once your refund has been issued.

Warranty and Liability for Defects
At Ascend Components, we want to ensure you have a great experience with our products! If you’re in a country that follows UK or EU law, the standard conditions for warranty and liability regarding material defects apply. Under UK or EU law, we’re responsible for material defects for at least two years from the date of sale, including any issues that existed when you made your purchase. Please check the specific regulations in your country for more information.
Important Note:
Bicycle parts are intricate, and it's important to follow all recommended service intervals. Failure to do so may affect your warranty claim if the issue could have been prevented through regular maintenance. You can find maintenance details in your manual and instructions.

Please note that normal wear and tear from regular use isn’t covered by our warranty. All components experience some degree of wear over time. For more information on warranty terms and conditions, please check the relevant warranty documentation.

Warranty Terms
Ascend Components is proud to offer a warranty that protects you from material or manufacturing defects in our products. This warranty is your assurance against manufacturing issues and supersedes any previous warranties or promises, whether written or verbal.
Conditions and Term of Warranty
All Ascend Components products purchased from an authorised retailer or distributor come with a two-year warranty. The warranty starts from the original purchase date. Please keep your original dated sales invoice or proof of purchase, as it’s needed to validate your warranty. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
Warranty Validation
Our warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use. However, it does not cover:
- Products that have reached the end of their useful life
- Defects caused by accidents or severe conditions like winter weather and salted roads
- Unauthorised modifications
- Neglect, abuse, improper use, or lack of reasonable maintenance
- Incorrect or incomplete assembly or the use of incorrect parts
Repair or Replacement
If you experience any issues covered by our warranty, we’ll gladly repair or replace the defective product, at our discretion, free of charge through our authorised retailers.
